A terrible mistake

A few months ago, I posted something about the company I'm working in and after some deep thoughts about it I realize that it was such a big mistake... I should not have taken a harsh decision and post it so publicly on my blog... I did not know the consequences was so serious that it would affect the image of the company that deeply... I'm really sorry and regretted for my actions.. I should have not been to rash jumping into conclusion without knowing the whole story behind it... I know I should have handle it properly by seeking the proper channel to solve my problem... What my boss say was correct: I'm already a university graduate but still my EQ is so low... From now onwards I've learnt from my mistake and would not repeat it in the future... I hope all the parties who were affected by what I said would forgive me for what I've done..

Malaysia Super GT Queen Finalist 2013: Shoot Out

I did have a chance to shoot the Malaysia Super GT Queens Finalist 2013 during the month of June. Finally I managed to get all the photos that I shot during the Live challenge All About You organised by Patrick Low. During the whole Challenge I was lucky enough to shoot all the pictures using the Hasselblad H3D. The files were incredible as it is a medium format camera. Even after converted into JPEG, the files are still so sharp and clear. Below are the images which I managed to get with Angeline Tan. All of these photos are out of camera, so I did not do any cropping. The composition is not good as the camera was fixed on the tripod and I really did not know how to adjust the height properly. The lighting was a simple setup by Patrick Low and is maintained during the whole shooting. So do let me know which picture is your favorite and I'll tell you mine. Do critique the photos if you want so that we can learn together... :D

Samsung Malaysia “Get-To-Know” Bloggers Gathering

Last Thursday I was invited by Donovan to attend an event organised by Samsung. It is actually an approach by Samsung to get to know the bloggers in town. The Samsung people would like to share their experience and to spread that they are not just only producing good quality mobile phones.

The event was organised at The Pool, Jalan Ampang and it was my second time going there. The event was suppose to start at 7pm so I purposely rush my ass straight after work there as i worry the traffic jam in KL. TO my amaze I was really 1 of the few early birds.

From the picture above I think you can see that how early I manage to get myself there. I was rewarded by a small gift when I arrived there.

1 of it is this wristband thumb drive. It will be quite useful for me as I can treat it as a wristband after using it and don't need to worry about misplacing it anymore.

The next gift is this mini speaker. Just a bit disappointed as the sound that come out of this speaker is not as loud as i was hoping for.

After waiting till like around 8pm the crowd started to build up and we were tricked by the emcee of the day Linora to come to look at a piece of empty wall and tricking us to believe something is there. Quite a sneaky move to gather people in front of the stage. Then Donovan gave some small speech and introduce the Samsung team up on stage.

Next, 1 of the team members briefly show us what Samsung does. I never knew Samsung produces washing machine. After the briefing, everyone was invited to the buffet dinner. I guess everyone was happy to hear that as we were starving. After dinner we had a small game which involves their latest product the Samsung TacTiles. We were suppose to use the NFC reader on our smart phone to read the message in the Samsung TacTiles. Luckily my Sony phone was able to do it. Too bad the message were a bit too long for me to memorize so I did not manage to win the prize which is 5 piece of Samsung Tactile worth RM70 if I'm not mistaken.

Oh well at least I still manage to caught up with some friends to chit chat before leaving. Din manage to make new friends though as maybe I were too shy to mingle. Haha. Thats all for now. Ciaoz....

things which I should not have done..

Actually in everyone's life, you've bound to do some stuff which you regret later and I think I have quite a couple of them. Now time to let it all out. (as far as I can remember)

Now recalling back when I was young, I used to like those digimon series. Then I got addicted to something called a digivice when i pass by a shop selling the toy. The next thing I know I kept asking my mom to buy it. But when the shop owner took it out. I noticed the Bandai logo was not there and part of me knew it was not the ori toy nut yet I still ask my mom to buy it. In the end regretted buying it and just throw it 1 side. What a waste right? I'm just a spoilt brat.

Up till when I'm 24 years old I'm still like that. Not thinking properly before I act. In the end had to suffer in my future. I think most of my friends know what I'm referring to. And today I just regret not reading properly. Sigh.... Next time really must take my time in making decision so no rash actions taken.

Sick again...

Why la I keep falling sick so easily one? I know my immune system now is very low but I think I got take care of myself properly. Din go under ho sun, din get wet in the rain. Yet I still fall sick now. I dont remember any one surrounding me is sick also. At least there will be a reasonable excuse if I got these germs from some one else. Or maybe God is just punishing me now for all my bad behavior? Well I just have to stay strong and fight the battle. Cant use this as an excuse and not do my best right?

Bloggers Help to Spread Love for the Children at the Penang Shan Children’s Home Association

Penang, 3rd February 2013 — About 40 bloggers and public visited the Penang Shan Children’s Home Association to distribute food, beverages and gadgets, sponsored by various commercial entities. It’s a philanthropic exercise not only by businesses in executing their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) but by everyone to give back to the society, thus making life more bearable for everyone in need. The event is made possible by Crowdpot Sdn Bhd (Event Organizer), Ninetology Malaysia, SUBWAY® (Suntech, iAvenue, & Leith Street branches), Chatime Malaysia, Langkawi Saga Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd. and Alextan Artworks.

Penang Shan Children’s Home (PSCH) began as a dream and initiative of Dr. S Balakrishnan in the year 2005. This is a non-religious and a non-profit, non-governmental organization catering to the needs of orphans, neglected children, dysfunctional families and single parents. The home was built and officially launched on 14th December 2008 by Madam Chan Siew Har. PSCH’s mission is to maximize the attractive opportunities that are stored in the children; to make something happen; to change the ways that things are and to create something that no one else has ever created before for the children, to explore for opportunities; to provide guidance and course correction; maintaining focus on being consistent and persistent. The objectives are both short and on a long term basis. The short term objective is to provide all the children with a safe and supportive environment. The focus will be on the development of physical, mental, emotional, educational, social and recreational skills that will create awareness to structure and mould the child’s future. The longer term development includes the options that are available for the child’s future, supporting them to complete the tertiary education preferably to University level. For those who are unable to complete the basic education, they would be trained in developing their skills by educating them in skill training centers. Through home visits and working with parents, they would like to ensure that eventually the child is reunited with his/her family thus becoming the backbone of the family.
